Route sheet 01 / Managed security for American small business

Somebody has to carry it. Somebody has to sign for it

Security is a haulage question before it is a technology question. Something must reach every machine you own, keep moving through the night when the office is dark, and end up in the hands of a person who puts their name against it. We sell that as twenty four plain items with the rate printed beside each, and engineers at Fortify 24x7 walk the bag.

Fig. 02 / What goes missing

Four parcels that never turned up, and nobody signed anything

Not one of these announces itself. Each is entirely ordinary, each has wrecked a quarter for some American company about the size of yours, and each is answered somewhere along the six routes below.

FIG 01

The bill with a new account number

Genuine supplier, genuine project, genuine amount, and banking details that moved last week because somebody had been quietly reading the thread since spring. It does not look stolen. It looks like Thursday.

FIG 02

The laptop that walked in March

The employee left and the machine went along, or it is in a drawer with a live session and a stored password. It was never wiped, because wiping it belonged to nobody in particular.

FIG 03

The external drive nobody copies

Far too fat to sync anywhere, so it lives beside somebody's foot. The whole office knows one copy of it exists on earth, and the whole office has silently declined to be the person who says so out loud.

FIG 04

The login that still turns

Made for a contractor two summers back. It authenticates today, carries the same rights it always did, and will see out several more employees unless a human goes hunting.

Fig. 03 / The six routes

Six routes. One bag. One desk picking up the telephone

Buy the routes that suit you and ignore the others. Each item is quoted against its own unit at its own monthly figure, and the whole lot lands as one invoice. Every route sheet states the work, the figure, and the point past which the route does not go.

ROUTE 01SentinelOne + Fluency

Standing watch

Sensors on the machines, correlation over whatever you attach, and analysts who act on the alarm instead of sending you a chart once the office reopens.

  • Behavior watched on desktops, servers, and container nodes.
  • Fluency ties sign in, mail, and network activity onto the endpoint story.
  • Three depths, from raise it with us up to contain it immediately.
Read the route sheet
ROUTE 02ThreatLocker

The approved list

A manifest kept on whichever machines hold work worth stealing. Software nobody vouched for is given no vote on whether it executes.

  • The manifest is written from the software already in daily use.
  • Approved programs may still patch themselves without stranding the office.
  • Ringfencing limits what a permitted program can launch, open, and reach.
Read the route sheet
ROUTE 03Ironscales

The mailroom

A second reader stationed inside your tenant, Microsoft or Google, plus steady drill for the humans at the keyboard.

  • Reading happens at the mailbox, over your tenant API. No gateway forms part of it and no appliance joins the path mail already takes.
  • A message judged badly on arrival can be recalled from wherever it landed.
  • Simulation and a short lesson, aimed at whoever actually needs it.
Read the route sheet
ROUTE 04N-able N-sight for the round, Addigy on the Apple side, Zimperium on handsets

The fleet round

Machines patched, browsing filtered, the Apple estate handled properly, and phones that someone genuinely keeps an eye on.

  • Health, patching, scripting, and remote hands all ride one N-able N-sight agent.
  • Filtering runs on that same agent. Nothing new goes into the rack.
  • Addigy takes the Macs and iPads. Zimperium takes the phones.
Read the route sheet
ROUTE 05Actifile

The sealed pouch

Work out where the regulated records ended up, price what each machine is carrying, then rule on which exits those records may use.

  • Sweeps every machine in scope, plus the storage that machine can open.
  • Each machine gets a dollar figure, and that is what turns an inventory into a queue.
  • Encryption applied in place, with each application ruled on separately.
Read the route sheet
ROUTE 06N-able Cove for machines and the Microsoft tenant, Dropsuite for the rest

The second copy

Copies held a good distance from the systems they cover, with restores proved on a cycle instead of assumed.

  • Copies at whole machine level or folder level, across desks, iron, and guests.
  • N-able Cove takes care of the Microsoft side. Dropsuite has the Workspace domain, the directory, and the books.
  • Recovery tested on a cycle, so the restore is evidence rather than optimism.

What a rollout looks like, stop by stop

Week two should contain no surprises. This is the shape of the work from the moment checkout completes, printed here so you have something to hold us against.

1

Count the round

We settle what exists. Machines, mailboxes, servers, tenants, and which of them you genuinely want carried. An honest count here is what keeps the invoice honest later.

Day one
2

Load the bag

Tenants get raised, installers get cut, and out go the enrolment links plus whatever authorisations each cloud account needs from you.

Often within hours
3

The heavy read

That first sweep, and the first copy behind it, have to cover the whole estate once, so they run slow by nature. Leave the kit switched on. Afterwards only differences move.

The opening nights
4

Bedding in

Manifests quieten down, filters gather the exceptions they want, and schedule sizes get settled against the volume you truly hold. A short conversation or two with us belongs here.

The opening fortnight
5

On the round

Alarms land at our desk, not yours. Behind the counter sit your items, your installers, and the whole dispatch book.

From there on

Ten platforms, carried across six routes

We build no software and we will not pretend we do. These are the platforms underneath the catalog, named openly, so nothing stops you researching any of them before a dollar changes hands.

What we decline to put our name to

A storefront that only advertises is half a document. Here is what we are not selling you, printed now rather than uncovered by you around month four.

  • Nothing here guarantees a quiet year. Not one control on this site turns every attack away, and any supplier implying otherwise is trading on a mood. What is genuinely for sale here is a far shorter delay between something starting and somebody who knows what they are looking at noticing it.
  • We are not your compliance function. These items throw off evidence that supports an audit. The programme, the written policy, and the judgment calls all remain yours. When a request has crossed that boundary we will say so on the spot.
  • Nothing we were never handed gets carried. An unmentioned machine, a mailbox outside the tenant, a phone that never enrolled. Off the round means unprotected, and no amount of invoicing alters that.
  • We will not sell hours we cannot staff. Alarms and approvals are worked by employees of Fortify 24x7. Where a piece of work falls outside the subscription we quote for it, rather than swallowing it quietly and resenting you afterwards.
Fig. 07 / The catalog

Twenty four items, and a figure printed against every one

Figures here come out of the billing service as the page loads, which is why a card on this shelf agrees with an invoice afterwards. Take what suits you, correct the numbers inside the mailbag, and post the order when the list reads properly. One subscription emerges at the far end.

No figures arrived. Reloading generally cures that. Should the shelves remain bare, write to support@starsandstripesit.com and a person will put a quote together by hand.
